Central e-Mission Team (CeMT) meeting was held at MHA under the chairmanship of Mr. K.K. Pathak JS(CS) to know the progress status of CCTNS project, NDC setup and BSNL connectivity

A meeting under the chairmanship of Union Home Secretary was held in Conference Hall, North Block, MHA to discuss the issues regarding upgradation of POLNET.

Meeting on Network Solution for CCTNS was held under the Chairmanship of JS(CS) at his chamber in MHA.
The Participants were BSNL, SWAN Coordinator, DIT, CPMU and NCRB.

The discussion points were

1. Coordination between BSNL and SWAN operator,
2. providing DIT guidelines to all states DITs for providing connectivity,
3. Giving instructions to all states/UTs regarding SWAN operation by DIT
4. Conducting meeting by BSNL with all its states circles across the country
5. Procurement process of routers & modems by BSNL
6. Installation of routers&modems in 16 states after procurement by BSNL

Steering Committee meeting was held under the Chairmanship of JS(CS) at his chamber in
MHA. Participants were CPMU, SDA and NCRB.

The discussion points were CAS Customization Guidelines and CAS Dos & Donts document
which has to be approved by PAG.

Meeting on Network Solution for CCTNS was held under the Chairmanship of Director(CS) at his chamber in
MHA. Participants were BSNL, CPMU and NCRB.

Note: no representation from DIT in the meeting, despite of the fact that the meeting was postponed from 23rd
December 2011 to 27th December on the request by DIT.

The discussion points were

1. BSNL site survey status
2. Guidelines to States –DITs by DIT, New Delhi
3. Equipment procurement by BSNL
4. States’ CCTNS sites status for site survey

CCTNS Nodal officers Meeting held under the Chairmanship of Joint Director(CCTNS), NCRB at Shaurya conference hall CRPF officers institute, New Delhi.  The meeting was attended by the officers of BSNL, DIT, State DIT and SWAN operators of States/UTs besides CCTNS Nodal officer of States/UTs.

1. Status of connectivity
2. Status of SWAN and State Datacenters
3. Status of CAS including the guidelines on DOs and Dont's which the States and their respective SIs should follow at time of configuring and customizing of CAS in the States.

Process Advisory Group(PAG) meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Smt. B. Bhamathi, Additional Secretary(CS) at MHA North Block New Delhi to know and discuss the status of overall progress of CCTNS project.

Empowered Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary (CS) at MHA to discuss the progress review of CCTNS, Network connectivity and the change request submitted by SDA.

An extensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of Core Application Software for CCTNS project was conducted for a period of 10 days from 6th Feb 2012 to 15th Feb 2012 at NCRB, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. The participant states were Delhi, Hariyana and Panjab.

Regional workshop on network connectivity was held at Kolkata on 14th Feb 2012 to discuss various issues related to CCTNS connectivity and speed-up the process for signing of SLA between BSNL and participating States, network committee formation and marking of CCTNS sites as per connectivity algorithm

The nodal officers of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Sikkim along with representatives of DIT, BSNL, State DIT and State BSNL circle participated in the workshop.

Regional workshop on network connectivity was held at Guwahati, Assam on 15th Feb 2012 to discuss various issues related to CCTNS connectivity and speed-up the process for signing of SLA between BSNL and participating States, network committee formation and marking of CCTNS sites as per connectivity algorithm

The nodal officers of  Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura along with representatives of DIT, BSNL, State DIT and State BSNL circle participated in the workshop.

Another User Acceptance Testing (UAT-Round 2) of Core Application Software for CCTNS project was started for a period of 10 days from 16th Feb 2012 to 25th Feb 2012 at NCRB, R.K. Puram New Delhi.

The participant states were Bihar, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Madya Pradesh .

Regional Workshop on CCTNS Connectivity was held at Rajasthan Police Academy Jaipur, Rajasthan to discuss the various issues related to CCTNS Connectivity and to speed up the process of  signing the SLA between BSNL& States, formation of network Committee and the marking of CCTNS sites in coordination with SWAN/BSNL.

The nodal officers of Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh,  Hariyana, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir have participated in the workshop along with the representatives of NCRB, CPMU, DIT, BSNL, State DIT and State BSNL.

Regional Workshop on CCTNS Connectivity was held at SCRB head Quarters Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh to discuss the various issues related to CCTNS Connectivity and to speed up the process of signing the SLA between BSNL& States, formation of network Committee and the marking of CCTNS sites in Coordination with SWAN/BSNL.

The nodal officers of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamilnadu and Maharashtra have participated in the  workshop along with representatives of NCRB, CPMU, DIT, BSNL, State DIT and State BSNL.  

User Acceptance Testinging (UAT round 3) of Core Application  Software for CCTNS project had started at NCRB Office, R.K. Puram New Delhi from 5th March 2012 to 16th March 2012.

The participating states were West Bengal. Sikkim, Chandigarh and Maharashtra. NIA and NPA have also participated in the UAT round 3 for one day.

Review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Smt. B. Bhamathi, Additional Secretary (CS) at the North Block, MHA New Delhi. The agenda was to review and discuss the status of CAS application delivery. It was further discussed that SDA should plan meeting with NATGRID to discuss the issues on CAS application and finalize a plan for delivery of all the pending activities by SDA.

SDA Steering Committee meeting was held under the Chairmanship of, Joint Secretary (CS) at the North Block, MHA New Delhi.

The following issues were discussed.

1) Identification and consolidation of all pending activities for development and deployment of CAS
2) Prioritization of activities identified
3) Detailed Project Plan for completion of all pending activities and roadmap for development and deployment of CAS
4) Dependencies, Challenges and measures being taken by SDA to improve quality of software and other deliverables

CAS Core Group meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Shri T. Krishna Prasad, ADG (Provision & Logistics), Andhra Pradesh at the Conference Hall, NCRB New Delhi for two days.

The following issues were discussed.

1. Discussion and decision on mandatory fields in CAS (based on feedback received during UAT Round –I, II & III and Intensive Field Testing)
2. Discussion on interim Save option in CAS Application
3. Status of incorporation of feedback received from States/UTs by SDA

2. Discussion on the finalization of mandatory fields and interim save requirements, based on information provided by SDA w.r.t impact on CAS in terms of design, effort, cost and timeline.

System Integrator (SI) workshop for CCTNS project was held under the chairmanship of Shri P.R.K Naidu, Joint Director (CCTNS) at Conference Hall NCRB, New Delhi for States/UTs where the SI has been selected or shortlisted.

The following points were the agenda for the workshop.

1. Overview of State Data Migration Utility
2. Immediate activities to be undertaken at States/UTs by SI

System Integrator's (SI's) workshop for CCTNS project was held under the chairpersonship of Shri Suresh Kumar, Joint Secretary (CS) at the conference hall, NCRB, New Delhi for States/UTs where the SIs have been selected or shortlisted.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT round 4) of Core Application Software for CCTNS project had started at NCRB Office, R.K. Puram New Delhi from 6th August 2012 to 22nd August 2012. The participating states were Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. UAT round 4 was completed
Successfully.

System Integrator’s one day workshop for CCTNS project was held under the Chairmanship of Shri P. R. K Naidu, Joint Director (CCTNS) at the Conference Hall, NCRB, New Delhi. The participating States/UTs were those states where SIs have been selected or shortlisted. The States/UTs were Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadar& Nagar Haveli, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

The following points were the agenda for the workshop.

2. Overview of Architecture and Design for all 3 stacks

SDA Steering committee meeting was held under the Chairpersonship of Smt. B. Bhamathi, Additional Secretary (CS) at the North Block, MHA New Delhi.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT round 5) of Core Application Software for CCTNS project had started at NCRB Office, R.K. Puram New Delhi from 9th October 2012 to 19th October 2012.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT round 6) of Core Application Software for CCTNS project had started at NCRB Office, R.K. Puram New Delhi from 29th October 2012 to 9th November 2012.

Walkthrough Session of Core Application Software was held Under the Chairmanship of Shri Shafi Alam, Director General (NCRB) at the Conference Hall, NCRB, New Delhi.

Union Home Secretary review meeting w.r.t CCTNS was held with CCTNS nodal Officers under the Chairmanship of Home Secretary at North Block, MHA New Delhi.

A meeting for Integration of various applications like eCourts, ePrisons of Criminal Justice system with CCTNS was held under the chairmanship of Sh. P. R. K Naidu at NCRB Office, East Block- 7, R. K Puram, New Delhi.

A regional workshop for Pilot Go-live for North Eastern states was held under the chairmanship of Sh. P. R. K Naidu, Joint Director of NCRB (CCTNS) at Police Headquarters, Ulubari, Guwahati, Assam.

CCTNS review meeting with all the System Integrators of States/Uts was held under the chairmanship of Sh. S. Suresh Kumar, JS (CS) at Conference room, MHA, NDCC-II, New Delhi.

A full day workshop regarding the deployment and configuration of CAS application at States/UTs was conducted under the chairpersonship of Shm. B. Radhika, Joint Director of NCRB at NCRB office, east Block- 7, R. K. Puram New Delhi.

The following points were the agenda of the workshop.

1. Installation of CAS State online (Police and citizen portal) and offline application
2. User registration and configuration of CAS
3. Creation and maintenance of Master Data

A second meeting regarding Integration of various applications like eCourts, ePrisons of Criminal Justice System with CCTNS was held under the chairmanship of Sh. P. R. K Naidu, Joint Director of NCRB (CCTNS) at NCRB office, East Block-7, R. K. Puram, New Delhi.

A meeting for Integration of various applications like eCourts, ePrisons of Criminal Justice system with CCTNS was held under the chairmanship of Sh. K. Skandan, AS (CS) at North Block, MHA. New Delhi.

The Pilot phase of CCTNS was launched by Hon’ble Home minister Sh. Sushil Kumar Shinde at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Review meeting of NCRB w.r.t administrative matters and CCTNS matters and CCTNS project was held under the chairmanship of Sh. R. K Singh, Home Secretary at North Block, MHA, New Delhi. DG, NCRB welcomed Home Secretary and briefly enlightened about the organization and mandate of NCRB which include Crime Statistics, Training, Management of Finger print database and Crime Criminal Tracking network and system project (CCTNS).

A National Level Workshop was organised for pilot launch of Citizen services of CCTNS project under the Chairmanship of Shri P. R. K Naidu, Joint Director of NCRB (CCTNS) at the CRPF Officers Institute, Shaurya, New Delhi.

A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Sh. Shafi Alam, DG, NCRB to discuss and signing of SI contract in Arunachal Pradesh by M/s Rolta Limited at NCRB Office, Block- 7, R.K.Puram, New Delhi.

A National level workshop on Change Management w.r.t CCTNS project was organised by NCRB at NDCC Convention Centre, NDCC, MHA New Delhi.

CCTNS Project review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sh. K. Skandan, AS (CS) at North Block MHA, New Delhi.

A meeting with Sh. J. Satyanarayana, Secretary of Diety, Ministry of communications and Information Technology, to discuss the various issues concerning CCTNS project at Diety office, New Delhi.

CAS review meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Sh. Shafi Alam, DG of NCRB to discuss the delay and quality related issues pertaining to CAS and related documentation at NCRB office, Block- 7, R. K. Puram, New Delhi.

A video conferencing meeting was conducted from 18th March 2013 to 3rd April 2013 to review and discuss the progress of CCTNS Project implementation across all States/Uts at NCRB Office, Block- 7, R. K. Puram, New Delhi.
